Ethias Cross 2021 – 2 – Polderscross Kruibeke

The Ethias Cross 2020-2021 is the fifth edition of the Ethias Cross (previously Brico Cross). It takes place from September 26, 2020 in Lokeren to February 13, 2020 in Eeklo and includes eight rounds for men and women. All events are part of the calendar for the 2020-2021 men’s and women’s cyclo-cross season. Unlike other competitions, for example the Superprestige or the Cyclo-cross World Cup, no points are awarded, nor is there any general classification or overall winner.

Much like teammate Lucinda Brand (Telenet Baloise Lions) in the Elite Women’s race, Toon Aerts (Telenet Baloise Lions) has risen up to take the gold at the 2020 Poldercross Kruibeke.

Rapencross Lokeren saw Aerts’ first-place podium getting stolen by Iserbyt Eli in the final stretch. This time, Aerts was sure to earn his spot at number one, surpassing the Pauwels Sauzen – Bingoal stars of Laurens Sweeck and Eli Iserbyt in a closely-fought race.
