The birth of a race in the provincial cycling calendar is always to be greeted as a party: it indicates the vitality of a movement that, despite the demographic decline and the growing economic costs for the organization of a sporting event, is able to propose level races where young people can gain experience and maybe one day become champions (in cycling at the highest levels there are no Italian protagonists in recent years).
Technically, the race is very similar to the one that took place for amateurs, with a 16.2-kilometer circuit drawn between Rezzato and Botticino to be repeated 7 times, while the last two kilometers will see the group turn in Botticino in the direction of the final erta of via Gazzolo with double-digit ramps up to 279 meters for a total positive difference in height difference in the total of 120 kilometers of 722 meters. A race that for boys aged 17-18 represents a test of evidence along with mileage.
