Ronde de Mouscron 2023 WE – Mouscron – Mouscron : 120 km
The Ronde de Mouscron is a recently established one-day race that takes place in the Wallonian town of Mouscron, a small town in western Belgium that lies just a stone’s throw from Roubaix. Despite being close to the finishing town of the infamous ‘Hell of the North’, this race doesn’t feature any cobblestones and instead follows an undulating circuit around Mouscron. The race typically tackles 10 laps of the town centre circuit, amounting to around 125km. Ranked 1.1 by the UCI, the Ronde de Mouscron isn’t the most prestigious race on the women’s ‘Spring Classics’ calendar, but falling just before the final Monument of the period and it gives some riders a chance to rack up the racing kilometres and hone their form ahead of bigger objectives.
