Postnord Vårgårda WestSweden 2022 WE TTT – Vårgårda – Vårgårda : 35,6 km
The Postnord Vårgårda WestSweden TTT is a truly unique race and the only one-day team time trial event on the annual Women’s World Tour calendar. The race is part of the Open de Suède Vårgårda series and along with a road race that takes place the following day, it forms a two-day festival of Swedish cycling that often falls at the height of summer. The Open de Suède Vårgårda series was created in 2006, but the team time trial event wasn’t held in conjunction with the main road race until 2008. Up until 2015 it formed part of the UCI Women’s Road World Cup and from 2016 onwards it joined the UCI Women’s World Tour – the highest tier of racing in the world.
