Omloop van de Westhoek 2021 – Eernegem – Ichtegem : 131,9 km
The Omloop van de Westhoek (officially: Omloop van de Westhoek-Memorial Stive Vermaut (in Dutch)) is a one-day women’s cycling race that takes place in and around the city of Ichtegem in the Province of West Flanders in Belgium. The race comes from a men’s event of the same name, whose first edition was run in 1955 and for 2018 this race becomes a women’s event, making part of the UCI Women’s Calendar1 as a category 1.2 race. The race pays tribute to the cyclist Stive Vermaut born in Ostend in the Province of West Flanders and who died in 2004.
